Discovering Eastern Christianity: An Overview of the Oriental Orthodox Churches

The ancient faith of Christianity was spread throughout the entire world by the apostles and disciples of Christ. “Their voice has gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world.” (Psalm 19:4). This faith that was established in countries like Armenia, Egypt, Ethiopia, Eritrea, India, and Syria is still flourishing until this day. The Oriental Orthodox churches, some of the oldest churches of the world, preserve this ancient Christianity. Come learn about how these cultures express their love and worship for God through their diverse traditions.

Join OCCM in the International Lounge of the Busch Campus Center for a night filled with engaging activities, rich discussion, and FREE FOOD! This is our first event of its kind, aimed at informing the Rutgers Community about the richness and depth of the Oriental Orthodox Church. We hope to see you there! Tell your friends!
