RU Stressed? If yes, then this is the right event for you! This is an event dedicated to discussing the mental health issues faced by college students. We will be discussing some of the signs and symptoms of mental illness and how to treat them. Please join us for a night of socializing, food and raising discussion about this serious issue. The struggle to maintain a balance between one’s social, academic, spirutual, and work life is a legitamite issue that many of us face. It is quite overwhelming and stressful for students to maintain a positive mentality in times of stress and anxiety. With keynote speaker will be the Psychiatrist Dr. Kathreen Tadrous M.D, she will assist in gathering awareness about stress, and mental health. Additionally, there will also be free FOOD and FUN activities!

 

The event will be held on Monday, October 23rd, from 5:00PM – 9:00 PM in Trayes Hall the Douglass Student Center. The event is open to everyone and anyone, and there will be free visitors parking in Lot 70 and the Douglass Deck! We hope to see you all there!
